Newborn sessions with siblings are seriously so much fun to shoot. We are documenting some of their first interactions together and the older siblings personality as they experience being the older child for the first time!
Clients favorite location don’t always work for photoshoot, but when they do it’s magical and I always love finding new locations, like the UCLA Botanical Gardens that Jessica introduced me to.
Wait until you see the gorgeous pictures from this maternity session!
You might be thinking that your beautiful neighborhood park is a fantastic spot for your family session. I mean it’s huge, beautiful and right down the street. Convenient, easy and beautiful, sounds like an ideal location right?!?
Well, maybe not.
Here are a few things to to consider when trying to find a location for your family session.
his Mother’s Day, let’s get Mom in the pictures of those memories and good times. Sign up for one of our mommy and me family minis and give Mom the gift of joy through one of our sessions that she will look back on and remember this wonderful stage of motherhood (no matter how old the kiddos are)!
I loved capturing this senior mini session! This time on time on the beach, featuring waves good enough for a surfer. Seniors may not entirely care about getting senior pictures taken at the time, but they will when they are looking back – and they are SO special for the parents to document this moment.
As much as I encourage to book before baby is due with our ‘floating date based on delivery’ to ensure that we capture your newborn, sometimes things happen and that isn’t always possible. And that’s ok!!! Reach out and we can talk about booking your newborn asap, like we did with this adorable 4 week old baby! Click here to inquire!
1 year sessions are one of my favorites to capture. Still a little baby, but with so much personality and curiosity as they learn to live in this world and grow.
They interact with props are show you what they like and don’t like, and it is so fun to see how Mom and Dad react too!
How crazy that at the time, the only way you could see a new little family member was via photos and the computer screen.
Newborn sessions are a great way to not just treasure these moments, but capture your baby to share with the world – especially while you still trying to figure out how to keep yourself and this new little nugget alive. It can help take the pressure off of you trying to figure out how to have everyone come by and say hi.
As most of you have probably noticed or seen, I have shifted away from weddings and more into lifestyle branding and family sessions! I NEVER, and I mean NEVER, thought I would be ok letting go of weddings, but here I am and I couldn’t be happier.
o of my passions together, branding and photography. I have really enjoyed taking a full dive into these sessions, learning about these amazing entrepreneurs and helping them up-level their visual brand. I look forward to continuing along this path!
Love working and growing with couples as they experience life events! I photographed this couple’s engagement session and wedding and now they’ve expanded to a family of 3, with baby Teddy!
You’ll be glad you did! The holidays are all about family, and traditions that grow and blossom. No matter if you change where you celebrate the holidays every year, or do it in the same location, everyone changes from year to year! Especially your children! People always talk about how important it is to capture […]
For a newborn session with poses like our samples, it’s best to capture them when they are under 2 weeks (even premature babies where possible). While this is usually a stressful time for new parents, it’s also the time when baby is sleepiest, and most cooperative.
Thank you!
