Happy First Day of Summer!

Summer is here, and I know you are out enjoying the summer time fun! The sun is shining, the weather is warm, and the possibilities for fun are endless. As a photographer who loves capturing memories, I am always on the lookout for summer-themed activities that families can enjoy together.

I love when I am invited into a client’s home for a session, so we can capture all those real moments that happen in their day to day lives! Home sessions are so fun, especially when there are new kiddos involved. This session was a family of 5, and it was the first time baby had taken family photos at 6 months only.

This early grey cocktail is perfect for sipping on a warm June evening with friends, or enjoying as a pre-dinner drink before a romantic dinner date. The lavender bitters add a lovely floral note that pairs perfectly with the Earl Grey gin, while the lemon and simple syrup balance out the flavors with a tart sweetness. Cheers to a delicious and enjoyable June with the Lavender Earl Grey Sour!
