Quarantine IRL – There pictures are such a blessing! This year is scary because it has reminded us all that time is finite and if/when a member of our tribe were to pass, these pictures will be priceless memories and comforts to the others in the family. Simply though, these family pictures are treasures!! They are my happy moments frozen in time!

Quarantine IRL – Capturing the day to day life doesn’t get done normally (at least for us), so having these is a reminder of just how blessed we are. Sometimes I take that for granted.

Quarantine IRL – For me, it is a pause in time & space. We have never, & hopefully will never again go through something of this magnitude. To know that we did it together as a family, stayed connected, strong, focused on our strive forward, I am so grateful to have these to look at now & to look back to in the future when we are on the other side of this thing.

Quarantine IRL – I’m really trying to reconnect with what makes me happy. I’m listening to music more, spending hours reading a good book, making a nice meal and even setting the table to make it more special on a regular old Tuesday night.

Quarantine IRL – The slowness and the simplicity. With having twin babies, our days at home are still really full, but it feels like we’re juggling and rushing so much less. Our days are filled with very basic things like cooking, cleaning, and connecting. I’m surprised to find that I think I was really craving that.

Order brunch from HER favorite place
Do all the dishes
Have the kids serve her breakfast in bed and you clean it up
Send Flower arrangements
Her favorite activity, such as a board game or gardening as a family
Create a little home spa day
Clean the house or even just one room
Take photos with the family

Quarantine IRL Real Talk II. When the world slowed down and became more isolated it allowed our family to become more present and appreciative of one another. We have each other no matter what goes on in this world.

Our black greyhound, Gary, was very ill with cancer when these shots were taken, and he passed five days later. To have him in these shots with us is priceless, we miss him so.

Everyone’s life has been turned upside down in different ways. It has been such an honor to capture these moments and what real life quarantine has been like for everyone. There is so much meaning and feeling within these sessions and it’s different for each home.
