Having the opportunity to shoot a client for her headshots, along with her daughters, goes down as one of my favorite women-empowerment shoots to date! Angela needed both updated headshots for her career and speaking engagements. She also wanted photos of her and her girls together since it had probably been 10 years since they had family photos done, and not to mention that she will be an empty nester pretty soon. At the time of the shoot, her oldest had just started her first year of college and her youngest is a senior in high school.

We took both professional shots of each individually, some posed family photos, as well as some fun photos. I loved watching the interaction with the girls and the beautiful growing semantics of mother-daughter relationships. It’s a special bond, even if challenging at times, and let me tell you during family sessions, I see it all – and sometimes get to capture everything, the good chaotic and funny, lol. Just a typical mother-daughter bond. I know all these ladies will cherish these images for a lifetime, from all 3 women together, to the sister bond – they are beautiful!
