A Beach Session in Black and White with this Gorgeous Family

I am totally obsessed with this session and the all black and white! I couldn’t be more thrilled when my artistic friend, Susan of Peony and Plum was on board for this idea! You all know how much I love black and white film! While this session is a mix of film and digital, I am still in love! Aren’t you!

This was the first holiday session for this family after their daughter went out of state college. That just makes my heart tingle. I love capturing the connection of families at different stages of their life and this was a big one for this family. The first time away from home, an empty nest and the change in the relationship between daughter and parents has begun.

The snuggles with dad, hugs with mom, the bond of a girl and her puppies and the giggle and joy between them all – this is what makes family session so special and wonderful moments to capture.
