The Most Meaningful Mother’s Day Gift Isn’t Something You Can Wrap

Portrait

Every year the search starts the same way. What do you get the mom who says she doesn’t need anything? What gift actually means something, years from now, when the kids are grown and the coffee mugs and candles are long forgotten?

Here’s the answer nobody talks about enough: a photograph.

Not a snapshot on your phone. A real one. One where everyone is actually in it.

Think about it, those tiny hands you’re holding right now won’t fit in yours like this forever. Before you know it you’re dropping them off at kindergarten. Then first grade. Then somehow you’re watching them walk across a high school graduation stage wondering how it all went so fast. Time won’t stand still for you. But you can capture it. And when it does pass, she’ll have something to hold onto.

That’s why all month long in May I’m offering Mother’s Day mini sessions at some of LA’s most gorgeous locations. Pasadena City Hall, TreePeople, Griffith Park, and UCLA Botanical Gardens. Offered on select Saturdays throughout the month, so there’s a date that actually works for your life.

And here’s what makes these different.

These aren’t your typical family photos where mom ends up behind the camera or half-cropped out of the frame. This session is centered on you. On mom. On the woman holding it all together who somehow never makes it into the pictures.

These sessions are set for you and around you.

20 minutes. 20 images. Four beautiful LA locations. $395.

You don’t need to overthink the outfits. You don’t need to feel camera-ready. You don’t need to have it all together.

You just have to show up, you are perfect just how you are, are so is your little family (whatever that means to you, I am looking at you dog moms!)

Make the time, because it won’t be slowing down!
