It feels like just yesterday we were covered in frosting, capturing the pure joy (and slight mess!) of little Isabel’s first birthday cake smash. You can take a little trip down memory lane and see those adorable moments here!

Since that sweet milestone, I’ve had the absolute privilege of photographing this wonderful family every spring and fall. It’s truly been an honor to witness their journey and capture their growth year after year.

I have a special place in my heart for working with Isabel. While she might have been a little unsure about the whole “photo taking” thing in the beginning, a little playtime and some good old-fashioned giggles quickly turned us into the best of buddies, lol! Now, she’s a natural in front of the camera, full of personality and always ready with a smile.

But the biggest news? Isabel has officially been promoted! To big sister, that is! Let me tell you, she’s taken on the role with such enthusiasm, she’s practically my new assistant, hehe! Turns out, this little lady isn’t just a fantastic model, but she’s also a natural when it comes to newborns.

Our journey to capturing this new chapter started with a beautiful maternity session at the serene Arlington Gardens. Isabel was absolutely beaming with excitement about becoming a big sister. You could already see the bond forming as she lovingly interacted with her mama’s belly, already teaching her baby brother a thing or two!

And then came the day I had the pleasure of photographing her sweet baby brother’s newborn session. Of course, we started with some precious family photos, and as always, Mom absolutely nailed the styling! Their outfits were just perfect – so adorable and cohesive.

From there, we moved on to capturing some solo shots of the newest member of the family. And who was right there, ready to lend a hand (and a pose)? Big sister Isabel! She was absolutely thrilled to pose with her new brother, showering him with gentle touches and sweet smiles. She’s such a ham, and I absolutely love it!

Witnessing families grow and capturing these precious moments is truly what makes my job so rewarding. From that first birthday cake smash to welcoming a new little one, being a part of their story is an incredible privilege. Stay tuned for more adorable updates from this beautiful family!
