I absolutely loved the challenge of this pilates studio shoot for Blue Moon Pilates – it was extensive and so rewarding! We had an extensive list of groupings and stories to shoot, which is truly my favorite part of a branding shoot. I love being able to share the ins and outs of a brand and their story through imagery. How fun, right?!

I worked side by side with the social media manager to prep an extensive list of what to shoot (because truthfully, I know nothing about pilates, lol). But you wouldn’t know that by the final images. She was the perfect partner that day by helping make sure the poses were accurate, getting the BTS and helping us stay on track with each section.

Our shot list included:
- Studio/Merch/Materials
- Group Photos
- Front Desk/Waiting Area showing people coming and going
- Headshots
- Showing Kelly mentor/teach/educate
- Trainers with a Client
This was a full day, nonstop 10-hour shoot. But man the gallery is killer!!! Why 10 hrs? We had 16 pilates instructor headshots, group photos and partner photos, where one acted as the client and one as the instructor and then we traded. Then we shot a pilates group class, gathering in the studio, instructional training classes, and shots that tell the story of Blue Moon Pilates.

It was a fun day and the energy of all the ladies helped make the session smooth and flow with ease. They were also troopers, often having to hold a pose for the shot or do it multiple times. We all were exhausted by the end of the day, but it was worth it. The content Blue Moon Pilates received within their gallery images has improved their online presence and established them as a top studio. Take a look for yourself on their website and instagram. These embody perfect examples of how to use your brand photos images to the max.
