Taking it back to her roots to share with you all about our recent photo session with the amazing Melanie Klein in her hometown, Carpinteria. We walked in her shoes for the day, heading to some of her favorite spots to work, unwind and recharge.

We kicked off our shoot at her favorite morning cafe, where Melanie often sips on her delicious coffee and gets some work done. This allowed us to capture some authentic, fantastic shots of her in her element, surrounded by the cozy vibes of the cafe.

Next, we headed to the neighborhood theater, the Alcazar Theatre. Melanie had an ingenious idea to have them write out on the marquee, “Bravo on your TedX Melanie Klein! Find it on YouTube!” What a fantastic way to advertise her TedX talk, right? Well, there was one tiny hitch – they spelled TedX as TedEX. Thank goodness for the power of Photoshop, am I right?

We then headed to one of Melanie’s favorite places to unwind and relax – the bluffs. The view was breathtaking, and I could totally see myself soaking up the beauty of the surroundings as well. Our final destination was the boardwalk, where Melanie takes her daily walks and enjoys her morning meditation as part of her self-care routine. What a fantastic way to incorporate personal branding into her photoshoot!
