Tip: Movement is your best friend. I’ll show you how to shift, breathe, and use small motions to create effortless, scroll-stopping images. No more stiff poses, only natural shots!
This was my 6th time working with Melanie Klein since 2022, and honestly, this session was our best yet. We’ve completely nailed her vibe: her likes and dislikes, her style, and exactly what works best for her in a session.

Like many of you, Melanie doesn’t love being in front of the camera. The prep, the outfit changes, the smiling, and being “on” for so long, it’s a lot! But the good news? Through collaboration and honest conversations, we’ve found her sweet spot. We know how many outfits, how many hours, and what kind of energy she can bring to make each session powerful without being overwhelming – enough to get fresh content for her marketing team, including photos for her TEDx talks, podcast promotions, client presentations, and social media.
Bi-Annual Sessions
Melanie was doing 3–4 sessions a year when we first started together. It turned out to be too much with her busy schedule, even though she needed fresh content for her marketing. So, we scaled back to 2 focused sessions a year, and the result? Stress-free, efficient, and epic content every time.
Reflecting WHO Melanie Is
Melanie is a business coach – she works with companies, speaks at events, collaborates with other female entrepreneurs, and is active in podcasting and social media. That means her content needs to reflect her authority, personality, and versatility.
We’ve refined every detail:
- Location that reflects her brand
- Wardrobe that ranges from business to powerhouse to playful
- Natural poses and movement that feel real, not stiff

In this session, we captured her:
- Responding to a real client on her app
- Walking into a “speaking engagement”
- On a phone call or catching up on messages
- Using her signature hand gestures for dynamic content (something that we have found really resonates well for Melanie!)
- Expressing real emotion: serious, smiling, joyful, curious – all of it

There was even a new building under construction in her community that perfectly matched her clean, modern aesthetic. One of my favorite creative shots? A “One Way” street sign that we flipped the script on – she walked in the opposite direction, because there’s not just one way to succeed in business. Such a powerful visual message.

We had a blast. The outfit changes were quick and on point. And the best part? Every image feels like her. See a few examples of how she used the images on her socials below:

If this sounds like the energy you want in your own brand photos, not just headshots or stock-like images, let’s connect. You deserve photos that feel like you, tell your story, and fit your brand perfectly. Let’s make it fun, authentic, and totally stress-free.
