Do you all remember Ella’s stunning senior session at the Arboretum? Well, it actually all started with Piper! When Piper’s mom reached out to plan her senior portraits, we ended up designing the perfect joint session for Piper and one of her best friends, Ella.

I absolutely love when seniors choose to take their photos together. It is such a beautiful way to document those final high school days before everyone heads off to different colleges. You will appreciate capturing those memories more than you know. I actually still have a professional (well, if you can call a 90s JCPenney studio portrait professional!) photo of my high school bestie tucked away in my drawer. We don’t talk as much anymore, but I still think of her fondly, and that photo always reminds me of the wonderful experiences we shared together (and just how young I was!). Capturing this milestone with a best friend is truly a priceless keepsake.

For her individual spotlight, Piper knew exactly what she wanted: flowers, gardens, and all the beauty of nature. As a senior at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, she has such an exciting future ahead, with plans to attend college and travel the world. Her vibrant personality completely matches her favorite bright and bold colors, which are yellow, pink, and blue.
Piper even brought two different gorgeous floral dresses to the shoot, a girl after my own heart, completely obsessed with flowers! While she was naturally comfortable in front of the camera, she really appreciated the creative guidance and direction we provided throughout our time exploring the Arboretum.

Her vision was to run through a meadow and have plenty of poses surrounded by blooms, so we made sure to bring that to life. We ran through the flowers, stopped to smell them, captured some gorgeous floral poses, and took a few quiet, peaceful moments just to take in the sheer beauty of nature.
Congratulations, Piper! I can’t wait to see where your travels and college adventures take you next.
