There’s something so magical about those first few days after a baby arrives. That soft newness, those tiny details, and the quiet joy that fills a home always get me. Sweet Aspen June made her debut on June 16th, 2025, at 3:18pm, weighing 9lbs 12oz and stretching 21.25 inches of pure perfection.

She kept everyone waiting for her arrival, taking her time and coming two weeks past her due date. Clearly, she was enjoying those extra snuggles with mom before making her big entrance.

We photographed Aspen at just 2 days old, and I’m so glad we did. Mom wanted to capture her while she was still teeny tiny, knowing how quickly babies change in those first few weeks. Every day brings a new expression, a little more stretch, and before you know it, they’re growing out of those newborn wraps. Aspen came into the world with the sweetest chubby cheeks and a strong little presence, so we knew we wanted to capture that fresh newborn look before she changed even more.

Aspen was the dreamiest little model, calm, cozy, and perfectly content wrapped in soft sage and blush tones. Her nursery was the sweetest backdrop, filled with gentle hues of pink, cream, sage, and natural wood. A perfect reflection of the soft, natural style that I love in newborn photography sessions. Everything felt so peaceful and timeless.
