There is something so special and fun about a good studio session, especially when we get to play with a bunch of different backdrops! This one had a few hiccups along the way, but it was so special to get capture these moments.

Poor little Juliet had a tough year. We actually had to reschedule this session three (!!!) times because she (and at one point her sister) just kept getting sick. You can imagine it was a pretty rough fall for this family in 2024. By the time we finally made it to the studio, she still wasn’t feeling 100%, but with the holidays fast approaching and Christmas cards needing to go out, we decided to just go for it. Oh my goodness, let me tell you, I worked for every single smile.

I pulled out all the stops! I sang “Baby Shark” and “Wheels on the Bus” (her favorite!) so much louder and more obnoxiously than I care to admit. Honestly, I wish someone had a video because it was a full-on performance, but hey, whatever it takes for those little glimpses of joy, right?!
The older girls were such pros. I’ve been photographing them since they were newborns, so we have our own little bond. They were amazing helpers with their baby sister, and of course, they always look forward to their little “surprise” at the end of the session. (Yes, I totally encourage bribery for photos, it absolutely works!)

At the end of the day, all the giggles, the chaos, the games, the funny faces… it all came together to create a gallery full of love. And that’s what matters the most.
How adorable is this family?! Who’s up for a studio session this year? I would just love to do it again and play with multiple backdrops for your family! Book a session now, spots are filling up fast!
