This week is all about appreciation, and not just any kind. The kind that runs deep. That shows up through emails, comfort, confidence and beauty – during sessions, referrals, and every hug at the end of a shoot. I’m taking a moment to shine the spotlight on you – my clients – and the behind-the-scenes collaborators who bring each session to life. Because without this community, Krista Mason Photography wouldn’t be what it is today.

Working with every women running her own business and every mom holding her family together, is another moment that empowers us all. It’s more than just photos for the website and walls. It’s making a mark, a memory, a change and building us all stronger together. I love that moment when I sneak a behind-the-camera glimpse of a photo during a session and my clients eyes light up and say “wow, that’s me”. That’s what I live for. To make you feel wow inside and out. That amazing moment when we nail the shot whether it’s for your business or your family. While both are drastically different in how we capture and approach each session, both give me the joy and that moment to live for of “OMG! I love it That’s amazing!”.

It takes a lot to put yourself in front of the camera, I know, and I want to thank each and every one of my clients for trusting me to be vulnerable enough to capture them. For allowing me to create beauty for you, and trusting me when I tell you to get into uncomfortable and awkward positions, knowing the shot will be just right. For feeling enough at ease with me to laugh, have fun and feel comfortable and confident. On the days that I wanna give it all up, you are why I keep going. To have fun, get creative and help make you feel your best in front of the camera, because as a women that is one of the most challenging things we can do! And I’m here to help guide you and show you just how amazing you are, as a mom, as a business women! You are fierce!

I also can’t go without thanking the people that help me keep goign behind the scenes. My assistants, Madi and Mica! Nothing would ever get done without you ladies and I’m so grateful for your support. And of course Aldo and my friends who listen to every crazy idea, stressful moment, intense anxious thought and help remind me why I do what I do, and that I don’t suck, lol!
