I love when I am invited into a client’s home for a session, so we can capture all those real moments that happen in their day to day lives! Home sessions are so fun, especially when there are new kiddos involved. This session was a family of 5, and it was the first time baby had taken family photos at just 6 months.

We go with the flow on shoots where kids are involved. In this case, everyone was wanting Mom all at once, so we used that to our advantage to get some good shots! The girls were so playful, energetic and fun. They loved their new little baby bro and wanted to hold him and cuddle him – perfect for pictures too! Mom had requested pics of just the kids on the bed in pajamas and I just love how they turned out and how playful the kids were and they were wonderful at following my guidance.

As a professional photographer, I understand that parents often feel stressed and concerned during family photo sessions. Worried about children’s behavior, getting genuine smiles, and constantly having to discipline them can be overwhelming. However, I want to assure parents that these concerns are normal and that I am here to help.
