You have booked your photography session with a highly recommended photographer. The big plus? You absolutely love their style! You probably have all sorts of emotions going on right now. You’re excited, nervous and maybe even a little stressed about your session and all the details, like your locations and outfits.
You know you’re going to love your photographer, but you still want to make sure your session is unique to you and your family. You’re going to have to put a lot of trust in your photographer.
That’s why we work closely with our couples and families to build that trust. We want to ensure they’re provided with the session and experience that’s a fit for them.
I regularly communicated with Samantha and paid close attention to her desires and needs. As part of our process, we do an in-home consultation to ensure that your photographs will become part of your home art that you will be proud to display.
Samantha’s modern styled home is filled with amazing pop art. The moment I walked into her home, I immediately had a vision for where we were going to shoot and the perfect styling for their session. I explain my vision for their session and Samantha and her husband started to get excited, because it was a true match for their style and personalities.
Using their answers to our questionnaire and ideas from their in-home visit, I created a mood board for Samantha and her family. She used this as an inspiration for our session and a guide for her outfits. We actually do this for all of our clients. We find it takes the guessing game out of locations, clothing options and lessens the stress and awkwardness. This process allows us to treat each client on an individual basis.
Samantha and Cory now proudly display their family images as part of their art around their home and office. We found the perfect locations and outfits for each person. We’re so happy to have made them feel comfortable and confident for their session. By getting to know them and investing the time to learn about their family personality, home decor and personal style, I was able to create an amazing experience for them.
