What a lucky little baby this one is going to be! When you have a mom that is super crafty and talented, how could you not be the luckiest kid in the world? I mean…just wait until you see the pictures from this adorable baby shower!! 

I met Marlina a while back at another baby shower and we hit it off right away. I’ve had a chance to work with her and her husband on several occasions since then – they are both just the sweetest, kindest people I have ever met – and her backdrop designs are always just incredible! Yes, she did all the design work for her own baby shower!! How cool is that? You really should check out her work, she is amazing!

Marlina wanted to spend her day with the women in her life that she loves and cherishes the most. She also wanted to find a way to include her husband without boring him with the whole shower – isn’t she an awesome wife? Hubs popped in before the shower for a quick mommy-to-be/daddy-to-be photo shoot. Wait…can I just take a second to talk about how stunning Marlina is? Totally obsessed with this flower crown!! It is absolutely divine!

Marlina knows how important it is to have beautiful photos to remember all these special moments – it might even be as important to her as having all these beautiful friends around her sharing in this joyous time in her life. 

When all the ladies started showing up, hubby ducked out – I’m sure to watch a football game or something! But, he made it back in time for one of the sweetest gender reveals I’ve ever seen! This one was so cute and even a bit grand – they held up a sign that unrolled to reveal the gender of their baby!!Seriously, does it get any more creative than that? Of course, the guests just loved it! You can see how happy everyone once they realized the baby was going to be a boy! There were even some tears!! I love being able to capture these special moments that will be a part of their story for a lifetime.

I was so honored when she asked me to shoot her baby shower. I knew there were going to be some stunning details – oh my, these details!! Marlina did NOT disappoint! From the linens to the cake to the tableware – it was all spot on!! She wanted to pull off a baby shower that reflected her super girly side – she is a girly girl through and through – but still wanted her shower to be gender neutral and not give away their big gender reveal surprise. I bet she’s glad she pulled all the stops, now that her life’s been turned upside down with tons of blue and everything little boy!She always puts so much into her work, but this one was all about her love for her new baby and the joy she wanted to share with her friends and family!Oh and take a look at the little rabbit details and Marlina’s specialty…these amazing backdrops!!
