So thrilled to share part 2 of my experience at the Jose Villa Workshop. Check out part 1 here. It was such an incredible experience to work with so many talented creatives. It really made the entire experience that much better. From the staff who brought everything together to the wonderful fellow photographers, I was so inspired and thrilled to be part of such an amazing group. And then there was the “25 strangers” assignment, where we had to go into town and take portraits of 25 strangers. Wow, what a way to break us out of our comfort zone. I still don’t think that was as much pressure as having to photograph a couple in 5 minutes while Jose Villa and 19 other fellow photographers are watching and judging, lol. Yeah, no pressure there, lol. As nerve racking as some of it was, it was an incredible once in a lifetime experience I will never forget. And making friends like that for life is priceless.
