Twins 1st Birthday Bash

Event

May 24, 2021

How about this adorable first birthday for these twins! It was a simple 1st birthday with the boys closest friends, a petting zoo and, of course, my favorite the cake smash!!!

These boys are adorable and such little, fun flirts! They had a blast with the petting zoo (especially since they were really into animals, reading about animals and making the animal noises!). Moms you know what I’m talking about! I am not sure who was more excited the boys, or Mom or maybe even all the moms, but needless to say everyone had a blast!

When mom first reached out to me to see if I was available, she was on the fence about hiring a photographer for the event. “I’ve been so torn on how much of a celebration to have and how much of a “thing” to make of it.” I completely understand, it’s a hard balance to know how big to go and where to budget. Since it was in the middle of COVID, this was also a factor and mom was trying to keep it simple, safe, but also memorable and fun! We chatted about the details and what she intended for the day and I told her that I understand. “Let’s see what options works best for you!” The 1st year (especially in the middle of COVID) is such a precious time to capture. She ultimately decided to move forward with capturing the event! On the day of, these key words hit home:

“I’m so glad I had you come, I have no idea how I would have captured all this and enjoyed the time with the boys, family and friends. And these moments are just too precious to not capture.”

My #1 tip No matter what you decide, how big or how small you go, celebrate this year with them beautiful babies and let’s capture these moments. We can work with you, no matter if it’s a small intimate session or a full-blown extravagant celebration, just be sure to capture the moments and be in the moment!
