Pastel Circus 1st Birthday

Event

February 27, 2020

It’s all in the experience – and color palette!

WOW!!! That was the first thought when I walked into this epic backyard-turned-into-the-most-superb-circus 1st birthday party. I mean the details where spot on. Down to the farm, carnival games, pastel colors, foods, and of course, the circus performers. What a lucky little girl, am I right?!

As guests walked in, they were wowed with the circus entrances – first stop the ticket booth for the carnival games! Under the tent were food and sweet booths along with some amazing lounge vignettes, and the kids table capped off with the most delectable donut wall. The kids had little party favors and elephant hats to help Alique celebrate. So cute!

As you walked through the tent there was a selfie station in honor of Alique’s 1st birthday, decorated with tons of balloons, some adorable paper mache llamas, and a beautiful popcorn cake! Not only that, but a chair that is definitely meant for a princess. Next to that were the tables for the adults alongside a bar – what is a kid’s party without some cocktails? For more activities, there was the bounce ball area, face painting, bubble play station, and a petting zoo with the option to ride a pony, that the kids went bonkers for. Watching them get to ride the pony and the pure joy on their faces (some a little fearful, but they eased into it) made for a great photo opp and memory for mom and dad to cherish!

This little girl was so excited, you could see it as she wiggled her whole body and shivered with pure joy! Way to go mom and dad! It’s hard to say what she was most excited about, because every corner she turned there was her favorite thing or favorite person, lol. But I think the elephants and the performers got her most excited! The party ended with not just a cake smash, but a circus performance and an epic confetti party with all the guests surrounded and in wonderful spirits. And that pure magical smile on Alique’s face may tell us that was her favorite part (mom and dad’s too, look at them, lol)!

This hit all the stops from adults to kids with the food, games, activities, selfie station, and the circus performers. Not only do you want your party to be pretty or match your theme, but also make it memorable and fun for guests. It’s becoming a huge trend to have interactive eats, drinks and performances not just at weddings, but at large scale parties like this one too. This can be done at all different budgets, from having little stations for your guests to nibble from, to having an event fully catered, you can make any type of event interactive for your guests!

Happy 1st Birthday, Alique!!!!
