How about this dream wedding for you! A glass chapel and a reception with an epic ocean view in Palos Verdes! A romantic elegant wedding filled with love, laughter, and, of course, a good party!
Karen and Eric got married at Wayfarers Chapel and continued their celebration at Trump National Golf Course. But first, they started the day at the ever so beautiful Terranea. It was a perfect day … a day this couple has dreamed of for years, especially since they’ve been together for 13 years!
Read this note from Karen and you will see why I love them:
“Eric grew up in Rancho Palos Verdes. Spending most of our weekends in this beautiful city, we have always known we would likely get married here. We decided to have a smaller, more intimate ceremony with only family and close friends at Wayfarers Chapel and then host a bigger reception at Trump National. Our ‘first look’ was held at Terranea where we stayed for the weekend. We went for a soft, romantic and elegant wedding design, filled with candlelight and neutral flower palettes with greenery. The wedding was filled with so much love, laughter (and alcohol of course) and we could not be any happier with every wedding detail.” – Karen
I mean come on … a soft romantic elegant wedding filled with love, laughter and, of course, alcohol, it doesn’t speak any more to me than that! You already know you need to find a photographer that you connect with … a photographer that captures the essence of who you are and the beautiful aesthetic of your dream wedding. This wedding was a match made in heaven for myself and Karen and Eric!
You also know you need someone proven and who is committed to giving you a fantastic experience. You want an experience that you can look back at your investment knowing every penny was well spent. Karen and Eric got that for sure, especially since we made Eric smile and enjoy (or tolerate) the day. I actually have to give Aldo all the credit for that! I guess it’s a guy thing! Karen has beautiful photos she can look back on with pure love and joy, remembering her dream wedding just the way she had imagined it!
Karen was so at ease when getting ready, we were able to capture some beautiful and goofy moments with her! How cute is she with her Mom and Sister? I love the relationship that the three of them have. Even more so since I was able to capture it a few times throughout the day.
The first look was perfect as Karen walked up to Eric with the beautiful ocean in the background and a perfect overcast day -all to make a breathtaking scenic.
I will admit … typically I am not a fan of multiple locations for your wedding day since it can take away from the whole experience with all the traveling around, but in this case each and every location was stunning! And, of course, Karen was totally down for all the photo requests, lol. Eric earned some huge brownie points that day. He doesn’t like having his pictures taken. But after getting to know us at their engagement session, he felt more comfortable with us. While I’d love to say he was all up for everything we asked, he politely tolerated it all with a smile, lol. (Gotta keep it real, lol.)
