Ashika + Adam’s Stunning Villa San Juan Capistrano Wedding

From the traditional Nepali rehearsal to their gorgeous wedding ceremony at the Villa San Juan Capistrano, Ashika and Adam had a wedding weekend that dreams are made of.

Mission San Juan Capistrano First Look

I recently shared the beautiful photos from Ashika + Ryan’s vibrant traditional Nepali rehearsal dinner, and am so excited to share their big day with you! The couple decided to do a first look at the amazing Mission San Juan Capistrano, located right across the street from their wedding venue.

The mission was founded in 1776 by Saint Junipero Serra and is filled with beautiful stone and brick, and it feels like you have been transported to Spain. Another gem to photograph – with its history and stunning backdrop. Their first look was so magical. Ashika wore a classic glam look and was beyond stunning – and Adam couldn’t get enough of her! He was so obsessed with her beauty that he kept taking selfies of her from the sidelines during her bridal shots. So cute and romantic. That is the kind of love and admiration that we all strive to have.

The Villa San Juan Capistrano is one of my favorite venues, with an outdoor garden feel and a nod to Italy with the lush green and rustic brick wood home. Our couple played off the lush greens throughout the venue within their floral arrangements and decor, with amazing greens and neutral colors. The bridesmaids wore a soft lavender, and there was a small piece of lavender on every napkin at the reception tables.

All throughout their planning process and wedding, their family and close friends helped make everything happen. Ashika and Adam live in San Francisco, so their families came together to ensure everything went smoothly. Mom of groom was a huge help in planning. She was so cute and so happy for her son and now daughter! The bridal party was full of family, which made it even more romantic and special. The bride’s mother walked her down the aisle, and Adam’s father was his best man. The bridesmaid’s were her cousin’s that were more like sisters – they grew up in Nepal together as little girls. It warmed my heart so much to see how much love was at this wedding.

Even though the couple opted for a first look, since photos were important to them and they wanted to spend as much time with family and friends as possible, the ceremony was still full of emotion. Not only did the bride get emotional, but most of the guests as well. It was so beautiful!

Everything about their reception was also so special. Their first dance was adorable and well done. So much happiness! The speeches by the family showed even more of the love and joy that this couple have in their life, like Adam’s mother. The laughter that filled the venue was incredible. The party was off the charts, dancing, drinking, singing and enjoying the company of all the guests. From the bride: “The wedding events and moments passed with a blink of an eye and the only way for us to to relive those beautiful moments was to go back and look at the pictures.”

Congratulations, Ashika + Adam!
