It all started with a shot of whiskey for this couple, or so the saying goes. Mia and Earl’s wedding was a breathtaking experience not just for the bride and groom.
The couple, the venue, the ceremony
There are so many small details that go into planning a wedding, and focus is usually on the bride and groom. But from the rehearsal dinner to the wedding venue, every detail of Mia and Earl’s wedding was carefully crafted so that their guest had an amazing time.
Their guests were shuttled in from their hotel to the sprawling 55-acre Triunfo Creek Vineyards. With the Santa Monica mountains as their backdrop, the setting was French farmhouse-chic, with a sage green décor, succulent farm tables, and the evening was entirely outdoors. Tucked off a private road, the vineyard offered a one-of-a-kind idyllic setting for what turned out to be a night full of warmth and personal touches.
As the couple prepared for the big event, it was impossible to miss the love and happiness that surrounded them. As Mia prepared, her mother and Sister were as nervous as she was, tucking every last hair into place. The groom was surrounded by his groomsmen who all did a great job of keeping him laughing and relaxed. How exciting is it to have all your friends and family be part of such a life milestone. In Mia’s case, it went a little further. Her grandmother presided over the nuptials. It was a special night indeed and the tears were evident in her dad’s eyes as he first saw her and prepared to walk her down the aisle, to a speechless Earl who could barely contain his emotions.
During the ceremony, as the couple read their own vows, one couldn’t help but wonder about this amazing couple with their fairy tale wedding, and the balanced mix of tradition, modern and chic that they accomplished as they shared the beginning of their next chapter with friends and family.
